New shower head and now water won’t stay hot very long?

I recently replaced my old shower head with a new one, with an internal filter, from Lowes. Now since I have installed my new shower head the water goes cold after only 8 or 10 minutes. When I used the old one, it stayed hot for much, much longer.

I know nothing really about show heads or anything. However, I do know that at my boyfriend’s apartment he has a shower head with weak water pressure and so he has hot water a lot longer than I do. My water pressure is really strong and I have the same problem as you- my water goes cold after only 8 or 10 minutes. Did your new shower head change the water pressure? If so, that might be the reason why this is happening.
